The wife of R&B star Usher says that contrary to his divorce petition, they had been living together and the move came as a complete surprise to her.
In his June 12 divorce petition, Usher claimed he and his wife Tameka Foster had been separated since June 2008, however in documents filed this week in Atlanta, Foster claimed they had been together intimately less than a week before the petition was filed.
In new documents, her attorney says Foster had every reason to believe her marriage was intact.
The couple wed in August, 2007.
E! Online reports that Foster is seeking financial support from Usher.
