Michael Jackson's father, Joe, says he wasn't aware the pop star was using drugs before his death.
Jackson's death has been declared a homicide due to the lethal levels of the anesthesia Propofol, as well as numerous other drugs which were found in his system.
His personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, is currently under investigation for administering drugs to Jackson in the weeks before his death, allegedly to help the singer - who is said to have been an insomniac - sleep through the night.
Investigators are also talking to other doctors who were close to Jackson, and who are suspected of over-prescribing or illegally supplying drugs to Jackson.
People.com quoted Joe Jackson as saying on Monday's Today show that up until the coroner's office released its findings, he was unaware there was any foul play:
"I didn't know all this was going on. I'm not angry, I'm mad. Because I didn't know all this was going on."
