Just in time for Halloween...
Earlier today, a crazy fan wielding a knife was on the prowl for Ryan Seacrestat the E! network building where Seacrest works.
Chidi Uzomah, 25, was detained by police today after he entered the E! network building, reportedly armed with a knife, and requested to see Seacrest.
Seacrest, who was in the building at the time of the incident, is thought not to have been anywhere near Uzomah. According to reports, this is the second time Uzomah has been arrested within close proximity of Seacrest.
Back in September, Uzomah was convicted of attacking Seacrest's security guard.
At that time, Uzomah was sentenced to 15 days in jail after pleading guilty to misdemeanor counts of battery, assault and possession of a switchblade following an altercation the security guard outside the Children's Hospital in Orange County, California. Uzomah was also given three years' probation and ordered to destroy all weapons he owns.
If Uzomah is found to have broken the terms of his probation, he faces either six months in prison or a $1,000 fine.
